training takes place at corporate headquarters in Springfield,
Missouri. Upon arrival the franchise agreement is signed. You
will receive an operations manual containing training on all
aspects of the business from the actual wood protecting procedures
to accounting and marketing. Several hours will be spent in
a classroom setting learning the basic cleaning and protecting
procedures before progressing into the field for actual hands-on
training. After learning the procedures, selling and estimating
techniques will be taught. One and one half days will be devoted
to accounting and marketing training. Accounting training will
be taught hands on entering information into the computer. A
CD will be provided with all accounting charts set up. Once
you purchase Quickbooks accounting software you just load the
CD and you are ready to start entering your personal information
for your business. The final day of training will be spent covering
the aspects of the business you are least comfortable with.
